Dear students,
Part II of the project involves writing some code in qiskit and executing it on the qBraid platform. Instructions for part II as well as an accompanying jupyter template have been posted on Moodle. To complete this part, you will need:
- a qBraid account. You should all have received an invite for this at the start of term, and signed up. In case this didn't happen, send the instructor an email and we'll generate a new invite
- the last part of the project involves running simulations on a real quantum computer. For this, you need qBraid credits. We allocate 500 credits to each group, which you can obtain by the following procedure: log in to qBraid, in the left bar go to account->wallet and click ``request credits''. This will go to the teaching team and we will approve the request. However, note that 500 credits will not allow you a lot of trial and error, so make sure you use the credits sparingly. If you need more, send an email to explain briefly what happened.
- if your credit request is not approved within 24h, it could be because you are making it from an account not connected to the class account. Your account should be marked as "EPFL" somewhere (in the top of the left bar?). If this happens, contact us.
Part II is due Friday 29 May.
Good luck!
Thomas
