Welcome back to FDS - hoping you had a great Fall Break!
First of all, please note that Homework 3 is due on Moodle by tomorrow morning, 10am.
Second, we will shortly post Homework 4, which is for this week only. As usual, the first problem will be discussed tomorrow, 14:30-15:00. The second, relatively short problem will be your homework, and will be due next week already, on Tuesday, Nov 4, at 10am.
Lastly, a quick early announcement for the Midterm Exam:
- On Wednesday, November 12, 13:15-15:00
- Exam Rules:
- You can bring any handwritten and not photocopied notes.
- You can bring printouts of lecture notes, homework, and homework solutions.
- If you typed up your own solutions to our FDS homework, you may also bring printouts of your own solutions.
- No other printed materials may be taken to the exam. No electronic devices are allowed during the exam.
- Coverage: Will be announced next week (but you may expect this to be up to and including Chapter 6, and up to and including Homework 4).
