Dear Students,

here is a quick update regarding the midterm exam.

   • Thursday, November 12, 8:15-9:45.
   • Preparation: You can now find plenty of old exams on our Moodle page. Use them wisely.
   • Exam Rules:
       • You can bring any handwritten and not photocopied notes.
       • You can bring printouts of lecture notes, homework, homework solutions, past exams, and past exam solutions.
       • If you typed up your own solutions to our FDS homework, you may also bring printouts of your own solutions.
       • No other printed materials may be taken to the exam.
       • Electronic devices are strictly forbidden, including smart watches, smart glasses, and so on. Do not bring such devices to the exam.
       • Coverage: up to and including Chapter 6, and up to and including Homework Problem Set 4.
   • Room assignments will be communicated closer to the exam.
