Dear students,
Next Wednesday is IC boost day. I am considering two options:
(1) Hold class as usual, but try to keep the material light, with the idea that those of you going to IC Boost may skip class and catch up later using the notes. IC Boost is mostly in the afternoon and our class is in the morning so this might be feasible.
(2) Do not hold class in person. Everyone can go to IC Boost. *But* we can't skip 1 week of material... So, I would record the lecture in front of my iPad and ask you to catch up by watching the videos when you can. I'd try to keep it to 2x 45 min, max, maybe less since I can also refer you to the notes for specific calculations and focus on the high-level explanations.
Could you please indicate your preferences at pe.app/cs308? This is anonymous but please vote only once.
On Monday morning I will look at the responses and announce my decision here.
Thomas
