Hi folks,
There will not be an in-class recitation this Friday. Instead please watch (and re-watch 😉) this recorded lecture from Butler Lampson, where he presents a fascinating set of insights into lazy vs. speculative execution, their uses in a variety of domains, and the principles that govern them.
As we do with papers each week, the way to get the maximum amount of insight from the lecture is to prepare your critical thoughts and questions on it, and discuss them with the rest of the class. Feel free to do this through Ed, where the staff can join the discussion as well!
Best,
POCS Staff
