Hello i would like to ask if there is possibly a mistake in the solutions in sample exam 2020 on page 12, problem 4. Or can you please explain me more in detail how was the H_all obtained in eq 12 when G = 1.

Yes H and G are swapped. Equations 7) and 8) should be Z = G(X+Y) and Y = H(Z+Y).
