Small reminder: tomorrow (Thursday 3 April) will be the LAST IN-PERSON class meeting. We will be covering cluster analysis.
You can turn in any 2 TP reports for 1/2 point each, then the final report will constitute the other 5 points (out of 6) for your course note.
There is no specific deadline for turning these in, but you are more likely to get useful feedback by turning them in before you do your final (individual) report.
TP 7 is a practice final report. There are 2 problems: (1) identifying differentially expressed genes between 2 conditions, and (2) carrying out a cluster analysis on one of the conditions to look for molecular subgroups. These are EXACTLY the same 2 problems as for your final report, except that your final report will have different data (individual to you).
I will mark TP 7 as if it were your final report, so that you have a chance to make improvements before you turn in your final report. You can think of this TP as a preliminary report. You will get 1/2 point just for turning it in, so it can count as 1 of the 2 TPs you need to turn in (if you want).
I have to scan the (commented) reports that I have already received, then I will email them to you.
