Dear all,
A few announcements about this week.
- We will not have lecture on Thursday morning. We will still have an exercise session as normal, so you are welcome to come early and just work on the problem set or the sample midterm exams.
- There is a problem set posted for this week, but it will not be graded. The problem set is still fair game for the midterm though.
- We will finish the material through Chapter 8.4 (The Borel-Cantelli lemma) this week. This material will be (lightly) covered on the midterm. Section 8.5 (LLN) will not be covered on the midterm. We may start it a little this week, but we will not go into it too much.
