Homework 2 is now posted on our Moodle page.
This homework is graded. You will have to submit it electronically on Moodle by Tuesday, October 1, 11am (before class starts).
You have two exercise sessions (tomorrow and next week) to work on the problems and to ask questions. Collaboration is definitely allowed, even encouraged. But every student needs to write down their own solution. If you do collaborate, please also mention the names of your collaborators. Much like you would do for anything else, like a scientific publication for example.
You may get started right away on Problem 1, you have all the tools to tackle it. For the other problems, you will learn more properties and tricks with entropy, divergence, and related measures in the next couple of lectures.
Do not hesitate to come back with questions - for sure, we will be there for you during the exercise sessions!
