Rules for GE

Hi,

I was just wondering about the rules for this type of graded exercise, as I have not had any of this type (am taking a minor).

We're supposed to turn internet off, correct? What about if there's a question and we want to use something we coded in the past to either a) help do something or b) check code syntax for something? Is that allowed?

Best regards

Emil

Hi Emil,

Thanks for asking on the forum, no you don't need to turn internet off! You are allowed to browse the documentation of the libraries used in the lab. You will also need internet to download the GE and upload your solution on moodle.

No, code you have written previously cannot be used (and wouldn't be very helpful).

You can have a look at the first post for more detailed instructions.

It says we can use exercises though.

"Use of any internet resources, except numpy documentation and Moodle lectures and exercises, is strictly prohibited!"

Wouldn't this imply that we can use our solutions for the exercises? Out code or solution code to be precises.

That's correct, thanks. You can use code from previous exercises, including what you did, and the rest of the course content on moodle.
