Trotterized Hamiltonian Simulation Project - Part II

Part II of the project. Part II encompasses some theoretical exercises and coding tasks. The coding tasks are to be completed in the accompanying Jupyter notebook template.

Note that the theory exercises are not featured in the Jupyter notebook template, so make sure to look at both attached documents!

This part should be solved in the same pair as Part I. For the theory exercises, you will upload a pdf (ideally compiled from latex, but a scan of neatly handwritten solutions is also acceptable). For the coding exercises, please upload the jupyter notebook that you used for obtaining your results, as well as a pdf of it (go on File → Save and Export Notebook As → PDF). 

Hand-In: Submit one solution per student pair.
