hello everyone, because I have received a number of questions, I am sending out this email with information concerning the rest of the semester for this course.
- There are NO MORE in-person class meetings. All remaining topics are OPTIONAL and are there for your information.
- You should turn in 2 TP reports - any 2 are ok. If one of them is TP 7, please deposit it in the slot on moodle. Any other TPs please email to me. Each TP is worth 1/2 point toward your course note. There are no specific deadlines, but the earlier you turn them in, the more likely I can give you useful feedback.
- TP 7 is a practice final report, and I will mark it the same way that I mark the final reports. Your grade on TP 7 does not matter, you will get the 1/2 point for turning it in.
- If you are also taking my course Applied Biostatistics, you MAY CHOOSE (but are NOT required) to use your final report in this course as your individual report for that course - that way, you do not need to do 2 separate reports. Please note that: you can use the genomics report for Applied Biostatistics, but you may NOT use any Applied Biostatistics topic for this (genomics) course.
