Good afternoon,

I was wondering if for a similar problem at the exam, where we are expected to find which input signal may have a given reconstructed signal, it was possible to derive, for each input signal, by drawing in the frequency domain instead of using :

to justify.

Thanks in advance.

Hello,

Sorry for my late reply. I think it can be helpful to draw part of the spectrum to understand.
However, it would be better to justify mathematically, obviously with infinite sums it becomes hard to track the computation and this is not the goal of this class (we rather see that you understand how to use Fourier/Laplace Transforms to compute efficiently).

Good luck
