CCST-100 Laser safety training online

Welcome to laser safety online training!

This training requires an enrolment key. If you have an EPFL email address:
 Log in to the Moodle page using your Gaspar credentials to obtain the enrolment key. Once you have copied the enrolment key, use it to access this training file and quiz.

In order to access a laser room and use a laser of class 3B or 4, you have to satisfy 2 conditions: 

- You must be instructed about laser setup you are going to use and safety measures specific to the laboratory. The laboratory head is responsible for the organisation of this equipment specific training, usually given by senior staff.

- You have to study presentation on laser safety provide herein and pass the test at the end (obtain at least 20 points out of 25).


Besides this online safety training, you can attend in-room laser safety complementary training if you wish.
