In this course EPFL master students of EPFL will elarn of to model and optimise decision for the design and operation of an integrated energy system. Subject covered are thermodynamic modeling and optimisation problem statement and solving techniques applied to the design of an energy system.
The course is project based, The students will embark on a journey of solving the problem of retrofitting the EPFL campus heating and cooling system to maximise the use of renewable energy and integrate EPFL researchers innovation.
