This course introduces modern computational electronic-structure methods and their broad applications in organic chemistry. It also discusses key concepts from physical organic chemistry to illustrate the stability and reactivity of organic molecules.
Given the growing impact of data-driven approaches in the field, the course will also examine how the data era has been shaping the direction of computational chemistry.
